Football season is my favorite because it marks the beginning of Fall and all my favorite things but, the food is definitely the best part. There are so many amazing recipes for tailgating when it comes to food and this recipe is no exception. I have found that snack foods is best on a Sunday or Saturday if you’re a College football fan, because everyone loves to gather around the TV and yell for their favorite team to get a Touchdown and win the game! This yummy recipe is sure to go at your next tailgate party.
You will need:
- Haiwaiian Rolls
- Sliced Ham
- Sliced Swiss Cheese
- Slice Pickles
- Stick of Butter
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
First, preheat the oven to 350 and grease a baking pan. Then take the Hawaiian rolls and cut them completely in half, laying the bottom half in the pan. Layer the meat (ham), cheese and then the pickles before laying the top on it.
Second, take a small bowl and whisk together the melted stick of butter, dijon mustard, garlic powder and onion powder. Stir then with a spoon pour on top of the rolls.
Third, cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and then bake for an additional 10 or until the top of the rolls is golden brown. Cut the sliders and remove from the pan.
There you have it! A simple recipe and quick but also absolutely delicious and doesn’t stay around long because it gets devoured up!
