I am all about quick and easy meals because let’s face it, I have 3 kids and dogs plus a whole array after school activities that the kids need to get picked up from or be dropped off at. So a huge elaborate meal that takes hours to cook and prepare just isn’t in the cards for us. Hot mess express, ALL ABOARD over here! So my slider recipes are usually a go to for us on those day because they are done within a 20 minute time frame. Plus, they make great snacks for football game days if y’all are anything like us and love the football season. The snacks are the best part! Am I right or am I right??
Let’s jump into this super easy recipe for y’all because I think I have rambled on long enough.
Quick and Easy Italian SlidersDifficulty: Easy
1 TSP Garlic Powder
1 TSP Italian Seasoning
2 TBSP Olive Oil
Banana Pepper Rings
- Preheat oven to 350. Cut the Hawaiian Rolls in half so that you have a top and bottom. Don’t cut them into individual pieces. Put into an oven safe dish.
- Put a layer of Genoa Salami, then Pepperoni, then Hard Salami, then Provolone Cheese. Top with banana pepper rings. Put the top of the Hawaiian rolls on top.
- In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasonings. Brush that on top of the Hawaiian rolls. I also like to brush it on the sides of the bottom portion to create a nice little barrier and also get that part crispy as well!
- Place in oven and cook for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and the top is a nice golden brown color.
Did I not tell y’all that this was super easy? 20 minutes tops including prep and you have a little meal that you can eat while running out the door to soccer practice, cheerleading, or baseball practice. Or even a late lunch on the weekends are a fun time out or after church. It’s just a great go-to for that quick and easy life.
