My favorite time of the year is upon us and I skipped the typical Fall decor and headed straight into Halloween. Since this is our first year in our new home, I went all out and probably will continue to buy stuff as stores put it out if I’m being honest. My husband is going to go insane with the amount of decor but I just love this time of year!

Kitchen Decor
Of course, I had to take my coffee bar area and transform into Halloween Rae Dunn heaven. I took the only few things I had last year from Halloween decorations that I had put up in my room and used it over there. I added in a couple new canisters, my favorite candle this year from Bath & Body Works and of course all the Hocus Pocus vibes.
Of course, I also have my mug rack that my dad made me last year just decked out in my Halloween mugs. This year I started with 5 Halloween ones and ended up with over 20 and I still hunt weekly for new ones. As a matter of fact, I’m picking up two new ones today!

I haven’t finished my Halloween occasion basket just yet so that will be revealed VERY SOON. I’m just waiting on stores to cooperate and put out some cute Halloween decor for the kitchen. I’m looking at you Target!
Spooky Glam Living Room
My pride and joy this year is my faux fireplace. I had originally planned for it be built by my dad but with the price of lumber, that was not happening. So we got this one from Home Depot for roughly $300 and my dad is going to build us a platform to put around it very soon. For now, I have this white rug that I grabbed from Amazon. This baby is my entire vision for my decor theme. I wanted to go with a spooky glam theme this year and I think I achieved that with this piece hands down.

I used this book stack that I got at Michael’s last year as my starting piece along with my little pumpkins from the dollar spot last year. Then I took the infamous dollar spot gumball machine and spray painted it black and filled with these ornaments that I snagged from At Home. I also got my two skull heads from At Home this year as well. The one with the crown was a total random find and she just screamed at me.

The candle and the two books that the potion bottle sits on are from Homegoods (found on one of my many Rae Dunn hunts). The potion bottle I snagged from Christmas Tree Shops and then the lights and bats on the wall are from Amazon. I made the garland myself from yarn that I got at the Dollar Tree.
But have you spotted the best part?
My true pride and joy is my sign that I made myself with my Cricut. I got the plain sign from Hobby Lobby and then attached the lyrics to the infamous song from Hocus Pocus. I am extremely proud of this area.

This is just the tip of the iceberg I feel like for this upcoming season. Stores haven’t even finished putting stuff out yet so I’m sure so much will be added, changed and moved before October 31st rolls around. Give me all the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brews and this view right here.
