Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 TSP Baking Powder
  • 1 TSP Baking Soda
  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter room temperature
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg room temperature
  • 1 TSP Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Cup Caramel bits
  • 1 TBSP Kosher Salt


  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In a medium bowl, mix together: flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda. Set aside.
  • With electric mixer, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Add in egg then vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add in flour mixture until well combined. The mixture will be thick.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop out by the tablespoon and then roll into balls. Place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
  • Place 4-5 caramel bits into the top of the dough ball.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes or until caramel is melted and the bottoms of cookies are golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt immediately.
  • Let cool before moving to wire cooling rack. Serve warm.
