– 1 box Vanilla Cake Mix – 1 can Pumpkin Puree (not filling) – 2 TSP Pumpkin Pie Spice – 1 1/2 Cup Sugar – 2 TSP Cinnamon – 4 Eggs – 1 Cup Butter – 1 Can Evaporated Milk – Walnuts or Pecans (optional)
In a bowl combine pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice. Mix well.
Once it's all mixed up, pour it into the baking dish.
Now add the cake mix on top of the wet mixture. DO NOT MIX.
Melt the butter and then add the chopped walnuts or pecans to the top.
Bake for 1 hour and be sure to let it cool before serving. Serve with ice cream or cool whip!
