We recently had the insanely amazing opportunity to stay at Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, GA and it was absolutely EVERYTHING our entire family imagined it to be. So much so that the kids did not wanna leave when it was time to pack up on Sunday and we are already planning on when we want to go back. Great Wolf Lodge is the best resort to families to not only vacation but also, to celebrate birthdays at and that’s exactly what we did! Gracelyn turned 3 on January 7th and we didn’t really celebrate because we had secretly planned a trip to Great Wolf Lodge at the end of the month for her birthday. It was everything that we envisioned for her!

We got a birthday cake, balloons, door banner, and 20 Paw Points for her to use in the arcade!

Let’s talk about the resort! Great Wolf Lodge has everything on site that you need. There are multiple spots to eat lunch/dinner, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, and Dunkin’ Donuts if you choose to not take advantage of their breakfast buffet. But, trust me you will wanna take advantage of it because the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! It was totally well worth the money spent and it’s all you can eat! Plus there are two shops one of which also houses the candy shop and then another that is solely your one stop shop for all things swimwear.

Let’s not forget the endless amounts of things to do as well! Mini Golf, Bowling, Arcade, Obstacle Course, Rock Climbing, Mining, and a MagiQuest. Don’t forget to stop by Build-a-Bear and grab a wolf stuffed animal too! Of course, the star of the show is the indoor waterpark. I can’t tell you how insane it was to me that it was 30 degrees outside and the kids were playing in the water and going down waterslides. What?!?
Let’s dive a little deeper into these things to do when you stay at Great Wolf Lodge!
Mini Golf, Arcade, Bowling
These are all really great for toddlers and older kids! The mini golf is only 8 holes and the Bowling is a small ball that the kids could easily roll down the lane themselves. And who doesn’t love a good arcade game where you win all the tickets you can collect to get some awesome prizes!

Rock Climbing, Obstacle Course & Mining
Adylee absolutely loved these as they tested her strength and ability! She almost made it to the top both times she did the rock climbing wall and she also got to do not only the kids obstacle course but also the top one which is for older kids/teens/adults. She was in total heaven when it came to these things! The mining part was also really cool as you get to sift through “dirt” for gems and match them up to a card.

That leaves Build-A-Bear which is pretty self explanatory! You get to choose from a few different options which are mainly characters from Great Wolf Lodge and you can of course dress them as well!
Purchase the pup pass, paw pass or wolf pass and get access to all of these plus free candy & ice cream!

I highly, HIGHLY recommend purchasing one of the passes for your children. We got Gracelyn and Giovanni the Paw Pass because Giovanni was still a little too short for the rock climbing and obstacle course so they instead got to get a free build a bear. We decided to just purchase a game of mini golf for them as well as a game at Ten Paw Alley where as with Adylee’s Wolf Pass, she was able to do everything. Giovanni also got to get a wand and do the MagiQuest with Adylee which he really enjoyed. Poor things height comes into play so much more than his age! The kids really enjoyed each of these things and loved showing their passes to get them marked off when redeeming the next activity.
Water Park
Of course, this was the star of the show and we told the kids that we would head to it bright and early after breakfast so that they could get the most time here. They also wanted to do a few more things in the game area so we made sure we gave them the opportunity to do everything they wanted to.
There are two areas for toddlers, a wave pool, a obstacle course, a lazy river, and various water slides. This area is pretty self explanatory and of course just full of all kinds of water fun so I’m just gonna leave y’all with some pictures of us enjoying all that the water park had to offer!

The Rooms
Now, we got to stay in the Kid Cabin room which had a queen bed and then 3 beds in a separate area for the kids with their own TV. It was seriously PERFECT for our family but there are tons of options that I am linking for you here. Waterpark passes are included for the whole family with an overnight stay!

There are also tons of events throughout the day for the kids!
Yoga in the morning, a cute little interactive show mid day, a knighting ceremony, a character meet & greet a few times throughout the day, bedtime stories and a fun dance party to end the night! There is literally something to do every single second of the day! You will never hear your kids say they are bored! Which I love because my kids are totally go, go, go kids and every single night they were worn out and in bed by 8. Adylee stayed up our last night to head down to the dance party but the younger ones just couldn’t hang.

if you have the OPPORTUNITY to stay at the many great wolf lodge resorts across the u.s. do it!

The memories we created here in just 3 days will last a lifetime!
