Every year, we bring in fall in one way or another right? Maybe you buy all the pumpkins you see in store or maybe you buy new clothes for the upcoming season. I personally bring it in by changing my hair color. In past years, I would go from a brown to a burgundy color really bringing out that red tone to my hair. This year, I decided to go back to my roots and just go with a deep cocoa color. It has been love since!
You know the saying: light in the summer, dark in the winter
I have been every shade of hair color under the sun but I have always stuck to reds and brows for the most part. During the summer months, I love a good golden ombre where my hair is a lighter shade of brown at the top with a golden hue to the bottom. Most of the time, I do this at home and so it only ends up looking like it has the ombre effect when I go into the sun.

Of course, over time I have fried my hair deeply but as of late I have been taking care of it more and more so it’s starting to become healthier. I fully told myself that I would go darker in the fall and winter because I needed to cover up these grays. As I am entering my 30’s, the hair is starting to become more and more gray. Happens to the best of us! I was just hoping that I would have my fathers amazing genes and wouldn’t get too gray too fast but looks like I inherited my mothers genes when it comes to that!
With that being said, i am bringing in fall with not only decor but hair this year! It’s dark and I love it and bring on the pumpkins!

I have yet to dye my hair but considering it for this extremely long grey hair that just begs to be seen lol
I love this trend, I wish I could participate in it more. I did when I worked at a salon, but as a natural blond going dark is a bit counterintuitive when most people are getting highlights to be blond. So I was told to be happy with what God gave me, LOL!
