I love to go all out for the kids when it comes to holiday themed breakfasts. Now that they are getting older, they wanna help mommy but sometimes it isn’t easy for them to help. I came up with these super easy to make for adults but also something that the kids can help make with you, French toast “sparklers.” Aren’t they super adorable?

Like I said, these are super simple to make! But first, let’s get started with what you are going to need.

Kid Friendly French Toast Sparklers
Course: Holidays, ParentingIngredients
Bread
2 Eggs
1 Cup Milk
1 TBSP Cinnamon
Strawberries
Blueberries
Powdered Sugar (optional)
- Tools
Star Cookie Cutter
Skewers
Directions
- Mix together egg, milk and cinnamon. I just eyeball it but I have included measurements.
- After the French Toast is cooked, move to a plate so it can cool some before you cut it out with the star cutter.
- Then carefully put it on the skewers followed by the Strawberries and Blueberries
- Top with powdered sugar and syrup if desired.
See! So easy and the kids seriously love them. My kids loved helping me cut out the star pieces from the French toast and then eating the scraps as I cooked up the next batch for them to cut out. Of course the putting of strawberries and blueberries, I did myself because I didn’t want the kids poking themselves.
