Fourth of July parties are all about the food, am I right? I love a good BBQ for lunch, some delicious snacks for maybe a “dinner” and then of course onto to the treats for watching fireworks. Well, I am usually the dessert designated person when it comes to these things so I always try to find new and fun ways to create something kids and adults will love.
You have seen my Patriotic Snack Mix which is also insanely perfect for during that snack “dinner” time. The kids can have it on their plate for an incentive to eat something because if your kids are anything like mine, I have to force them to eat during these parties. They would much rather be off playing and I can’t say that I blame them.
But, this recipe here is for a yummy dessert that the kids can easily enjoy while watching fireworks. Adults too because who doesn’t love a good brownie? So let’s get started with what you will need!

Ingredients
1 Box of Brownie Mix
Strawberries
Blueberries
Marshmallows
Directions
- Bake the brownies accroding to directions on the box. Bake and then allow them to fully cool. You don’t want the brownies warm. Cut into small squares.
- Take the skewers and then put the strawberries, blueberries, marshmallows and brownies on them in whatever pattern you like!

This is one insanely simple treat that everyone can enjoy. I did different patterns on the skewers where some had one brownie and some had 2. I think even a few had 3 and of those were definitely the favorites.
You could even use the skewers and do all kinds of different things like cutting out a star watermelon chunk and putting blueberries underneath it for a fun “firework” treat. I actually plan to make those for our upcoming Fourth of July party!
I’ve connected with some amazing bloggers to share some July Fourth treats! Cookies, cakes, donuts and more! Head to each of their pages to check out what they are sharing!
