I am all for a good holiday decor DIY and so I had to create my own Rae Dunn inspired Easter eggs after I realized that the ones she had made didn’t fit in the egg holder she had made. Isn’t that funny? So, I grabbed these eggs from Hobby Lobby for like $7 in the Easter section and ran home to create the SVG on my cricut. Now, these eggs are a little fuzzy as they are crafting eggs and made for drawing on for the kids. Keep that in mind if you decide to make these for your Easter decor!
The Process

First up is of course creating the SVG in Cricut Design Space using the Rae Dunn inspired font. I wrote out all the words in the font and then made them 1 inch high and placed them side by side so that they would be cut on one sheet. I will be including the SVG in my free resource library so definitely click the link in the bottom of this blog post to get signed up for that! Once that was cut, I then weeded them out and used transfer tape to put it on the eggs.

These are fuzzy like I said so reusing the transfer tape like you can usually do was a bit difficult as it grabbed all the dust that could stick to the eggs when transferring. Towards the end, the vinyl wasn’t sticking as well and I had to really work with it to stay. So again, definitely keep that in mind. There are some other great options at Hobby Lobby that are white eggs that aren’t crafting ones or you can grab the cute speckled ones that Marshall’s/TJMaxx has with all the Easter Rae Dunn stuff. Those would be insanely cute as well with this decor since I went with the pastels for this.
Decorating The Area
Y’all have seen this little stand in everything lately as it was such a steal at TJMaxx and has become my new love for having with my decor or using my extra one with cute festive treats. I did a simple pastel theme this Easter but had to make sure the star of the show was my Robins Eggs canister and egg holder. I am OBSESSED with Robin’s Eggs and have been since I was a kid. They are my favorite candy treat so when I saw that she had created these two plus the Robins Egg mug, I had to have. Still hunting that Robins Egg mug though!!

I just added in this cute pastel beaded garland from Hobby Lobby along with these adorable burlap carrots that I had grabbed from there as well. Only 6 eggs fit in the egg holder so I just put the remaining ones around the area and added in my Happy Easter canister and Jelly Beans canister. All Dunn all the time over here!
