This past week we got the opportunity to stay at one of the newest hotels in Orlando, Tryp by Wyndham. I was so excited to get to see this new boutique hotel and get to call him home for a few days. Right in the center of everything, Tryp by Wyndham is located on International Dr. in Orlando. Minutes from SeaWorld, Aquatica, Disney World and Universal this hotel that was built in just November is perfect for your families next trip to Orlando.

Walking initially into the hotel, you get a total modern vibe which I loved. In the lobby there are some seating areas, a little “store” if you will where you can purchase some bottled sodas or water, laundry items and some snacks. Perfect for those days you are out by the pool! Just around the corner from there is the library and the hotel bar. While we were there the bar wasn’t opened but it was totally gorgeous! Then you have double doors that lead out to the pool where there is another outside bar (again not opened while we were there). We definitely spent some time in the pool on Saturday and the kids really enjoyed it.

Our room was a total selling point for us and we could’ve just stayed there and not done anything else the whole week. While I am glad that we did though and I will be highlighting all of that in a blog post very soon! But, as soon as you walk into the room you see two double beds but just turn around and you are met with a bunk bed nestled into the wall. The kids went NUTS over it!! I loved that they also had little alcoves where they could charge their tablets and also rest them against the wall if they wanted to lay down and watch something on them. Perfect for those days when mommy and daddy are watching something on TV and everyone else wants to watch their own things.

Don’t even get me started on the gorgeous bathroom which was immediately to our left when we walked into the door. The big lighted mirror was heaven for doing my hair and makeup while on the trip. My husband loved the shower because it was a huge walk in shower that was big enough to fit us all if we wanted. Being that he’s 6’1 sometimes the showers are still pretty tiny to him but this one he fit in comfortably.
Also, the staff at both Visit Orlando and Tryp by Wyndham left us a little goody bag in the room which was so insanely sweet and came in handy for us as well. I didn’t get a chance to grab a photo of the little goody bag that had water, pens, and even some candy because the kids dug right into that! Momma did get to eat some AMAZING macaroons though. But, I did get to snag a photo of this bag that we got which came in so handy for SeaWorld and we are just BEYOND thankful for it.

Staying Safe
While we were out of the room most of the time, I do have to say the entire hotel was very clean. They take extra precautions with cleaning due to COVID and everyone is required to wear a mask while on the property. They do enter the room to clean it however, the housekeeping staff has on masks and gloves. We never felt like our health was compromised in any way! It was actually so nice to come back to the room after a long day out and about in Orlando to a nice clean and freshly made bed/room!
One last thing…
I also wanna touch on the hotel staff as well. They were just insanely sweet and very helpful! We had a tiny mishap where my husband left a bag of our clothes and they were insanely sweet regarding it and held it that following Monday until one of us was able to head down and grab it. So thankful that they did keep it for us after we had checked out and we were able to retrieve it.

If you’re looking to stay at a hotel that’s not far from everything that Orlando has to offer, I highly suggest staying at the Tryp by Wyndham. It’s so stylish and chic looking along with the amazing location. Even if you just wanna hang out by the pool, it’s the perfect size for littles and not insanely deep on the “deep end.” Be sure to check out all their rates here and book your next visit with them!
Enjoy some photos below of the kids in the pool at the Tryp by Wyndham hotel!
