Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Kansas City Chiefs

It’s Super Bowl time and that means all the snacks and all the food. I’ve grown up watching Football every Sunday and we have always had a Super Bowl party whether it was just us or we had a huge one. This year of course, it’ll just be family but that isn’t stopping us. Food will be in abundance and we will be parked in front of the TV watching all the commercials during the game plus I have to watch Mahomes kick some booty. I may live in Florida but I’ll be rooting for the Chiefs!
To add to all the yummy food, I decided to make some festive cookies. Very last minute decision so, I just grabbed the pre-made sugar cookie roll and ran with it. I cut them up into slices and baked them according to the directions on the package. Once they were done and had cooled, it was time for the fun part.

I took some cream cheese icing and scooped some into a three microwave safe bowls and heated it up for about 15 seconds until melted. Be careful not to heat for too long! I then added red food dye to one, yellow to another and left the other white. I took the cookies and then placed the top of it into the melted icing then placed it onto a plate to dry. Repeating the process for each color a few times.

One of the easiest ways to ice cookies for sure and also easy enough that the kiddos can help with them as well!

Did I mention, Go CHIEFS!
This is so yummy!!!! Thanks
These look like yummy treats for the big game!
