If you know me, you know I am a lover of all things Mexican food. I have always been a huge taco fan but once I started dating my husband, I was introduced to the street taco and a whole host of other delicious Mexican dishes. One of my favorite meals besides tacos would have to be a Tostada and that’s what I am going to share with you today. It is truly one of the simplest recipes and easiest ones to make!

To start you’re going to need:
- Refried Beans – canned is fine cause were just gonna heat them up
- Ham – the deli meat kind
- Shredded Lettuce
- Tomatos
- Queso Fresco
- Pre-packaged Corn Tortilla Tostadas
- Sour Cream
- Salsa (optional)
First up, open the can of refried beans and put it in a skillet to heat them up so that they are soft to spread on the tostada. While that’s heating up, cut up the tomato and slice the deli ham into strips. You can also take the opportunity to crumble the queso fresco so that its easy to put on top of your tostada at the end.

Once the refried beans are all heated up, spread it onto the tostada and then top with sliced ham, tomato, shredded lettuce, queso fresco and sour cream. Thats it! You are literally done with the entire meal and it is so delicious!

It’s simple but oh so filling and yummy!
I’ve connected with some amazing Bloggers to share some blogs featuring tacos. Tacos, fajitas, nachos and all things taco themed. Head to each of their blogs to check out what they are sharing.
