Fourth of July is here and we all know everyone loves a good s’more out back by the fire. I am right there with you! But, this is one dessert that my kids love eating during our family’s Fourth of July parties and also one they love to help make! It’s simple, easy and perfectly patriotic.
What you need:
- White Chocolate Covered Pretzels
- A cute decorative plate & bowl
Super simple ingredients here because simplicity is key when you’re having the kids help! First thing you’re going to do is wash all the fruit and cut the Strawberries in halves. Try to keep them pretty even and also if they are huge ones that sometimes tend to sneak into the pack, just cut them in four. Once they are washed and prepped, divide everything into their own bowls so that the kids can help grab and make the flag with you.
This is the fun part, create the flag! I used our small Fourth of July plate by Rae Dunn and just a ceramic bowl from Dollar Tree for the blueberries. The kids enjoy this part the most because they can eat everything as they go and who doesn’t love to eat fruit and chocolate?
Once you are done creating the red and white stripes, just pour some blueberries into the bowl and you’re done! Serve chilled. You can even add some whipped cream on the side for a fun little dip to go with it. Super simple, easy and yummy plus it looks so appealing when paired with Fourth of July decorations.
Below are some photos of this delicious treat!
