Summer time is always my favorite time simply because you can spend all day in the pool or at the beach. I mean, who doesn’t wanna lay out and swim all day? Plus we live in Florida where summer time is practically year round but the actual summer months are the best.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve spent a lot of time swimming and at the beach which I am totally okay with. The kids love swimming like their momma and our backyard just can’t house a pool thanks to the millions of hills. They recently were missing the pool we went to at our recent trip to Lake Buena Vista Resort in Orlando so I figured let’s just get a little pool and let them splash around. Perfect!

This little baby was $5 at Five Below and it was the best 3 hours they ever had. Sometimes all it takes is the cheapest thing to bring your kiddos the most memories. We filled it with their bath toys and they had a ball!
I love being able to find fun things to do for them during the summer! We are currently working on our summer bucket list and have already crossed off a family vacation! Next up we’ll be heading to our local water park in Daytona that just opened up so that’s another thing we’ll cross off the list. With COVID-19 having turned our worlds upside down, I’m trying to make the most of the time we have together.
We’ll be doing some fun summer activities like going and dropping off some local painted rocks around town, making our own popsicles, make our own ice cream (this one momma is looking forward to the most) and just spend all the time in our little pool soaking up the sun.
I’ve connected with some amazing Bloggers to share some Summer themed blogs with you. Head to each of their blogs to check out what they are sharing.

This is so cute! I wish our backyard was grass so bad! We have rocks 😅
Definitely need to head to 5 below !! Thanks for sharing
Yes. We love 5 below. Our last house was all dirt out back so we are loving the grassy yard.
Love all these ideas! We’ve been doing a lot of the same things! Picnics at the beach, campfires in the backyard and late night hunts for fireflies!!
Absolutely love 5 below! Blow up pools are essential this summer!
So true about the cheapest things making kids happy. Thanks for sharing!
How fun!! Wish we could go to the beach. Closest one is a hour away. And the really nice one is 2.5 hours away. Hope you’re enjoying your summer!
We just got the kids a pool and they LOVE it! I definitely enjoy being outdoors with then as well
Those are a summer must have! This is so great!
