When my husband and I got married and moved into our first house we started a tradition of Friday nights being family movie night. Since then, we have grown by 2 little ones and we have continued this tradition. Both Adylee and Giovanni know that Friday nights are designated movie nights and always request popcorn as soon as we are done with dinner. Sometimes we go out to the local movie showing in the park but majority of the time, we watch a movie at home.
This past Friday was no different, except we got to watch the new Addams Family Movie! I, personally, was excited for this one as I grew up watching The Addams Family during late night TV (where my nick at nite people at). I was curious to see how they were going to make it even more family friendly and if they would stick super close to the original show/movie.

This movie did not disappoint at all and was such a cute rendition of a classic. The kids were captivated during the whole time, which sometimes is hard to do! I found it to be pretty close to the original and date I say, even better! Especially when it comes to little kids. I love that it celebrates uniqueness and how everyone is different but we can all get together and be friends. Which in today’s world, is so important! There’s so much negativity and can be so much bullying that it’s nice to see a movie that celebrates that you are special just the way you are!
What is something that makes your family unique?
We also have a movie (serie Tv) night! I love it
What a lovely tradition! We love to sit and watch a film together x
That is an awesome tradition! I loved the Addams family movie too!
